A inovação é uma palavra que nós nos estamos ouvindo muito mais em China estes dias. O consenso é que como o manufacturing os custos em China continuam a se levantar e complexidade da corrente de fonte aumenta, assim que as companhias têm que innovate para conservar o dinheiro e para aumentar a eficiência.

Nesta história nós fazemos exame de um olhar mais profundo em o que alguns companhias e indivíduos em China, extrangeira e em chinês estejam fazendo para conduzir à maneira no serviço, gerência do fornecedor, ELE execução, assim como a eficiência custada e process. Estes companhias e indivíduos eram todos os vencedores das concessões no Summit de novembro 2007 CHaINA.

Os avanços através da corrente de fonte em China estão fazendo exame o formulário de novo d execuções, uns níveis mais grandes do serviço com 3PL's, gerência melhor do fornecedor, posição estratégica das operações e de um foco aumentado no R&D doméstico e desenvolvimento de recursos humanos e outros locais. O Sourcing de China evoluiu de uma aproximação straight-forward, custo-dirigida umas variedades mais elaboradas e mais estratégicas. While the recent product recalls did not seem to have impacted Chinese exports based on overall figures, however we have come across anecdotal evidence suggesting the otherwise.

Undoubtedly the initial sourcing interest was triggered by China’s notorious low costs, both direct (such as those for labor and land or rent) and indirect (rendered under a myriad of government export incentives, such as subsidized fuel costs, export VAT refunds, non-taxation and/or tax reduction).

Much thought and effort goes into the selection of vendors, but how much effort do you put into selecting an audit provider? Many potential clients begin their conversations with “We have tried third party auditors in the past…”

Does that sound familiar? I can’t tell you how to pick one company over another. Your particular industry and needs will determine who is right for you. What I can do, is give you some advice about audits in general.

An audit in general terms is an objective evaluation of product, processes, and/or systems. Most importantly, an audit is a comparison of actual performance to predetermined standards. Note, please the emphasis on predetermined standards, and the means to evaluate your auditor is clear. You must first specify to what standards you desire your supplier to be audited. “Private label products or services are typically those manufactured or provided by one company for offer under another company’s brand.” –Wikipedia. This is the name of the game for China and for the most part, the products you buy here in the United States are not really manufactured by the name on the label. In some instances most of the big box or clothing stores you frequent have an inventory almost entirely made up of their own products under their own brand or multiple unaffiliated brands. This is not just a game for the big boys, this can be accomplished with the same everyday products under your own company’s label. Welcome to the club, we are about to pull back the curtain to reveal what you need to know in developing your own private labeled line of products.

Take notice that every manufacturer has its own guidelines, requirements and procedures for producing a private label product. Not all manufacturers offer this service or have the capability to laser-etch/carve logos etc. The first step is to source the product you like and then follow-up with the manufacturer opening a dialog about private label opportunities.
