I have been asked many times if Credit and Debit cards can be used in China. Foi-me pedido muitas vezes se cartão de crédito e débito podem ser usados na China. In the 6 months I have been in Shanghai I have seen and heard many interesting things. Nos 6 meses, eu ter sido em Xangai eu já vi e ouvi muitas coisas interessantes. This time a short story about buying power. Desta vez a uma curta história sobre o poder de compra.

This week I was talking to a young guy who’s girlfriend is doing a study in the UK. Esta semana eu estava falando com um jovem rapaz da namorada que está a fazer um estudo no Reino Unido. When I asked if he would visit her in the UK he answered negative. Quando perguntei se ele teria em sua visita ao Reino Unido ele respondeu negativo. He has possibilities to do, but refuse to because he is supposed to use this time for himself to increase his buying power…. Ele tem possibilidades de se fazer, mas recusam-se a ele, porque é suposto que usar esse tempo para si próprio para aumentar o seu poder de compra…. When his girlfriend comes back he will get engaged with her and what is a future husband without enough buying power…. Quando sua namorada volta ele irá obter envolvidos com ela, eo que é um futuro marido, sem poder de compra suficiente…. I have seen it before where a young guy quit his job because his girlfriend and family thought the job was not good enough for him to built up a successful career and thus to support his future wife financially.
