Acredita-se que China oferece possibilidades unprecedented para o sucesso econômico em todo o setor. O país tem uma população well-educated grande e os empregados trabalham duramente de encontro aos salários do competidor. As histórias rujir sobre o sucesso do negócio seguem um após outro. a Cidade-vida melhorou dramàtica e o consumo realiza-se, após 20 anos de crescimento econômico non-stop, flutuante imóvel.
Esta aproximação sempre-optimistic tem-no, entretanto, downsides. Muitos empreendedores esquecem-se de permanecer alertas. Os salários baixos e os custos seemingly baixos por o produto fizeram muitos empreendedores preguiçosos em controlar os padrões de produção totais. Um estudo recente de McKinsey sob 30 multinacionais mostrou que os gerentes que fazem exame de seu trabalho a fácil eram responsáveis para a perda da produtividade da produção e de custos se levantando. Muitos gerentes ocidentais têm dificuldades com o nível baixo da pro-atividade de seus colegas de trabalho chineses. A falta do `da iniciativa' frustra-os. Esta atitude passiva não é relacionada ao motivation, ele enraiza no sistema educacional chinês.
A instrução ocidental é focalizada em valores como a independência e a creatividade. Trocar idéias e discutir vantagens e desvantagens de determinadas soluções são partes importantes de nossos sistemas de instrução. Fazendo exame da iniciativa e fazendo perguntas são incentivados.
The Chinese educational system is based on centuries-old traditions which still have an impact on today’s society. Facts are more important than questions. Questioning facts is seen as questioning the masters’ knowledge. A discussion of any sort between pupil and teacher is not-done.
The level of perfectionism is measured by the accurateness of ‘imitating’ the master.

Building a talent pipeline is not easy in China and you will need all the help you can get.
Those who get to know you or to know about you through a third party grant you a higher level of confidence, credibility and loyalty. According to Dr. Robert Cialdini in his amazing book; Influence: The Psychology of Persuasion, this is social proof in action.
This is precisely why the proper care of candidates is so important to your recruiting efforts. China is currently a high-volume type of place. Many of the recruiting systems in place here are based on the more-is-more philosophy. If you are not finding the candidates you need, get more! The problem with this approach is that it is often implemented at the expense of quality and in a candidate short market like this every candidate counts.
