Cash Income Grows For Chinese Farmers

I have often said that China is a “crisis-rich environment” in which to do business. Recent events have certainly borne that out: From the situation on the roof of the world; to demonstrations outside French retail chain Carrefour and calls to boycott French products; to the outbreak of a deadly strain of Hand, Foot and Mouth Disease, termed “Baby SARS” by the local media (China Suffers HFMD Outbreak, WSJ, 29 April 2008).
