Assim o gweilo começou em um vôo de China do ar.
Parece que eu era a única pessoa non-Chinesa no plano.
O choque da cultura começou lá. O ar China do vôo não é como o vôo Air Canada. Nós fazemos exame de nossos confortos ocidentais para concedido e não apreciamos realmente o que nós temos até que remova. Esta era primeira uma introdução boa, gradual da fase para mim. Faça exame de tudo que nós somos usados a aqui e bata-o abaixo três entalhes. Espaço, serviço, qualidade se washrooms, assento, ou alimento. Eu não sofri, mas realizei que eu era como um guy da cidade que vai visitar primos do país na fazenda. Eu estava indo de uma sociedade desenvolvida a uma sociedade tornando-se. Estavam tentando alcançar nós, e estavam fazendo um trabalho grande, mas…

Última noite, eu estava em MSN que chatting com meu cliente, cuja a incorporação negociando de WFOE (completamente empresa possuída extrangeira) está sendo prosegue por mim atualmente. He hired a 21 year old assistant to assist him in daily affairs. My client sacked her a couple of days early, for her irresponsibility and laziness, and is seeking another assistant, so he asked me if I happened to know anybody. I introduced a girl who’s intending to quit her present job, and they seemed to have a good conversation on MSN later.

I recently had the opportunity to visit two factories in the southern China town of Kaiping that produced denim jeans for a major discount retailer in the United States. Considering that the only reports of Chinese textile factories that I had come across had been critical, the visit was a (pleasant) surprise.

When entering the China market, many multinational companies assume that a country with a population as large as China’s would not have a labor shortage. However, the fact is that qualified labor is at a premium in China. Under the booming economy, the rising demand for Chinese labor has exceeded its supply. Hiring talented employees—young, upwardly mobile Chinese professionals with advanced skills and an understanding of international business—is even more difficult. Because of the limited availability of such employees, the competition for this talent is intense.
