Chinese and Western Culture Comparison
This Soloshow East meets West by Yang Liu, which was placed at ministry of foreign afairs in Germany, is poster art that compares German / Western culture with Chinese culture in a way that humorously captures some societal differences. Needless to say blue represents Western culture and red Chinese?

Just read this article, interesting. Have been leaving in Italy, Milan for years, coming from the far east, found out that Italians are just like the Chinese. The Blue colorred box, which refer to western countries, should exclude Italy.

I agree with Mian…I grew up in an Italian American household, and I was amazed to feel so at home when I worked in China. The two cultures have a lot in common.

being Italian, travelling back and forth from China since 1996, I have to admit that a number of red boxes apply to Italian more than the blue ones, particularly: punctuality, queues, sundays, restaurants.
Is this good or bad? don’t know.

I totally agree with you guys, apart from exceptions, Italians are more in the red boxes than in the blue, as Mario mentioned, above all for queues, punctuality, sundays.
Bobca, I am Italian and I had your same feeling living in China, above all while invited in friends houses for special dinner with the entire family.
yes, Italian and Chinese cultures have a lot in common.
