Western and Chinese business-More Than 1 Way To Communicate
By Greg Bissky
Yesterday Greg Bissky posted a new video on YouTube. According to Greg, Westerners must learn that there is more than one “right” way to communicate. The Western rule is, “get straight to the point,” but Chinese use a different rule, “build the relationship first.”

Interesting. Obviously it takes years for a westerner to understand why chineese businessmen communicate so inefficiently, so swooningly polite and still achieve results.

Good to finally hear you speak, Greg!
True ideas. And infuriatingly challenging to keep these things in mind when using them in real life, they defy the logic we’re used to. But they do have a logic of their own…
I cannot but think about when you deliver such ideas, there are bound to be some folks who may see those thoughts as judgmental of their own culture, should be a tough job balancing between an impartial analysis and paying tribute to the possible misunderstandings : )
